Cantilever gate keeps closing on its own. Secondary entry gate needed timers set up for business hours.
After evaluation of the equipment, technician determined replacement was required. The batteries had not been replaced since install in 2018. Drive chain was rusted and loose. He made adjustments to reduce slack and sprayed with white lithium grease to protect against corrosion and extreme temperatures. The technician adjusted the lower cantilever roller as it was binding during evaluation. Informed the client that the lower rollers may need to be replaced if issues persist due to the weather causing corrosion. Client will contact for follow-up to get replacements. Auto-timer was programmed per client specifications. Also replaced the batteries in that operator unit.
